West Lodge Farm park near Corby is a lovely day out. The farm has lots to see and do and there’s a ‘inside outside’ tree house play area. There also a shaded sandpit and outdoor play area for warmer days.

Fineshade has multiple walks including the Gruffalo sculpture walk which is perfect for little legs. The small playground by the cafe is accessible for little ones.

Lots of different trails though the woods and a picnic area by the car park. Unfortunately the toilets are permanently closed. The walks are not pushchair friendly.

Barnwell has a specially designed new toddler park which is great for under 5’s to explore independently. The bigger park has a lovely sand area (great for warmer days) and bigger equipment for older children.

East Carlton’s playground is better for older children as the equipment can be quite tricky for little ones. However, the younger children love seeing the ducks and paddling in the stream.
